This article hits is dead on. Speaking from personal experiance as a serious (don't laugh) gamer for many years prior to coming here I think he's right on what he's saying. It's been in planning/production for years to bring more video game like training material into fields that are high risk like surgery, combat, industry, etc. There are flight simulators for pilots, VR for infantry, etc. to help teach and train people how to do their job more effectively.
