This blog post is really helpful and can really help to avoid the myriad of problems that can occur when you mess with IP laws. I don't think most people really know these laws as well as they should and that a lot of things we do casually every day are actually breaking copyright laws. The kinds of regulations that exist but are seemingly never enforced are crazy and until it happens to you or you read about it you don't realize how strict and serious they really are.
