OnStage: Making a difference

Star Tribune: "In the spring of 2005, Samuel Roberson Jr. was about to graduate from Howard University in Washington, D.C. A theater major, he had no idea where he would go or what he would do next."

I’d be very interested in seeing this piece. It should do well with younger audiences since it is a play that we can all relate too, especially due to the college setting. It brings up a popular issue of identity, but doesn’t drive it into the ground which is an easy path to sink into. Instead, I think the use of comedy will help make this play both accessible and enjoyable for many.
