Moving Soon to an Apartment Near You
New York Times: "BROOKE BERMAN is living in Seventh Heaven this week. That’s the name of the three dorm rooms that New Dramatists, a nonprofit center for playwrights housed in an old church on West 44th Street, offers its 49 artists-in-residence for short stays."

Well, I certainly hope that if I have a New York Experience that it is like the life of the guy at the end, maybe not the quick to marry and have kids, but to live in the same apartment for most of my life. At this point in my life i don't think I could relate to this play, probably mostly because am a freshman in college and have lived in the same house for most of my life to date. I think that the lifestyle of the urban nomad, is an unfortunate truth for a lot of people but, not necessarily the way of life as an artist in New York, not to say that these people messed up their lives or that most artists have a really easy life, but that there are a variety of circumstances that led to their nomadic lifestyle.
I believe that as a college student, I can relate to this concept more than most. College is the first time for many people to live on their own - away from friends and family. Discovering how to make this new place a home is an idea we have all wrestled with.
