Lloyd Webber's 'Wind' blows back

Philadelphia Inquirer: "Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals aren't supposed to go missing for a dozen or so years. They're just too big, too widely discussed, too likely to create a box-office firestorm.
But Whistle Down the Wind, the adaptation of the 1961 film starring Hayley Mills that signified an eagerly anticipated reunion between the composer and his Phantom of the Opera director Harold Prince, disappeared after finishing its 1996 Washington run - until the current season, when it quietly arrived on the road-tour circuit and opens at the Merriam Theater Tuesday in a series of one-week runs across the country."
