Final Call for Hemsley Internship Applications: Feb. 15 Deadline
The Hemsley Lighting Programs announces the final call for Hemsley Internship applications are due February 15, 2008.
Applications for the 25th annual Internship Program with the New York City Ballet, New York City Opera, and the Lincoln Center Festival are being accepted through the February 15, 2008 deadline. Interviews for finalists will be held in New York on March 29, 2008 in conjunction with the Hemsley Lighting Portfolio Review on March 30. Candidates should submit a resume, a one-page statement of personal goals and anticipated benefits from the internship, and three letters of recommendation. The selected intern will begin in June 2008 and continue until the end of February 2009. The program provides the opportunity to work in a professional repertory situation with resident and guest designers. Additional opportunities may include touring and media events. A monthly stipend is provided in addition to travel expenses.
