WSJ.com: "Earlier this week, fashion designer Peter Som and casting director Jennifer Venditti stood in his office studying five photos of pale, thin teenage girls with dirty-blond hair.

The fashion industry is always put in a tricky position because of the demands between model and clothing. Some designers in the article are said to actually want run-of-the-mill models so that people will focus on the clothing. The real objective should be to change the norm. Who knows, maybe someday we can move away from the insane bone-thin quality of the models as well.
