Contrary to the last article I read on this blog, this action is the OFFICIAL day the record industry dies. After I read the article about radiohead releasing their album themselves, I sat contemplating just what companies like livenation and jambase promotions would do to make "the concert" one of the biggest sources for an artists income. I didn't expect anything new, however I knew things would become inflated. Madonnas story is the prime example of how music buisnessmen are doing jus that. Most likely seats will go up and merchandise will become more abundant, which means silk screeners and apparel companies will reek the benefits as well. Goodbye Warner Brothers
