I am very interested in reading about different visual effect technologies, especially since I am currently learning about modeling and rendering in 3D. This article discusses things way more in depth than I have learned about the computer generated visual effect process, but it is really interesting to see how hugely this technology can be expanded upon from what I know now. It is also crazy to think about the fact that there is so much room for growth. These are considered big advancements today, I wonder what kind of visual effect technologies will exist in the decades to come. It is crazy to think that one of the companies mentioned in the article, WETA, does work on some of the biggest budget movies ever made, like the Avengers movies, but also works on TV shows like the eights season of Game of Thrones. That is a lot of resources poured into episodes of TV!
