This Literal Car Crash Is ‘The Price Is Right’s Wildest Moment Yet
collider.com: In an average year, there are over 6 million passenger car accidents in America. It's a staggering number, a reminder that one should always be vigilant, but that's on U.S. streets, highways, and parking lots. So, in theory, if you're not in a car, on a road, or even walking by a car or road, the odds of being involved in a fender-bender are pretty much non-existent.

I've never watched The Price is Right. I've also never crashed a car. I've also never crashed a car while acting as a model on The Price is Right. I've also definitely never done that twice. I also was really confused about why this was being presented as current news (this article was written a couple weeks ago) but then there was a line talking about how this was in an April 2011 episode. I don't really understand how this happens, like the article writer said, being on The Price is Right and driving the car from one side of the stage to the other doesn't seem like a really difficult task. One thing I was left wondering was how the repairs for this happened. If the car knocked over one of the set walls, I’m curious about how filming and airing of the episode was affected, since I imagine there needed to be some pretty quick on-stage fixes of the wall.
This is pretty funny, I’m sure it’d be kinda shocking to see if you were in the audience or watching this on tv for the first time. That being said, she was probably only going like five miles an hour, so how much damage really could’ve been done? I think it’s funny that they chose to recreate this for April Fools, and I’m glad she was willing to play along. But apparently the original event happened when this model had only been on the show for less than a year, and I’m sure that would’ve been a horrifying mistake to make in front of a live audience and while being filmed.
I have no clue why this article was written recently. This is randomly about a small event that happened nearly 14 years ago, and has no update or current relevance. I guess sometimes people get hired and they just write about stuff. Though of course I suppose I never would’ve had any idea this had happened if it weren’t for this article. For better or for worse? Who’s to say?
