This seems a little like tool week here on the CMU PTM Blogspot. Weeks like this make it super easy to write comments as I am always interested in reading about new tools on the market. Jumping into the article, I am very impressed by Makita's new tools. While I own power tools from most consumer grade and some professional grade companies, I do not own any Makita power tools. I think this is due to the fact that I have never had great luck while working with them. The last time I worked with them was when they had just re-designed their entire power tool line to the white and black tools. I found these tools to be very underpowered, I found that the batteries drained pretty quickly and that they were not so durable. I was working with someone who had just bought them, and they were already having issues due to wear and tear.
