This was an interesting list of people. I liked the article because it proves that anything is possible, and from a list of 30 people to have only 5 under the age of 35 is quite an accomplishment for those that made it. It is a harsh reality though that it takes such a long career to make it onto this list, but good for them! As a female, I was kind of hurt to only see 1 female out of the 5 people under 35. She even said in her bio that she didn't mind being the only girl, but it sucks that AutoCAD would be considered a male dominated program. Hopefully, that will change.
This is a very intriguing article. AutoCAD is a program that takes years to master so I understand that the list is an under 35 but it is still interesting to see the time it takes for these people to progress in their field and reach the level that they are at. It's interesting that in the day of technology that there aren't that many younger people as well on the list. Along with people who do more traditional drafting or atleast have that in their background although I guess I don't know all of their histories.
This is super cool. I didn't know this was a thing but wow. AutoCAD is such a versatile program and to see all these young people succeeding in life and using it for their work everyday. A list to aspire to. I find it interesting that each release of 5 people seems to only have one girl each. To think even a computer program is dominated by males is, more than anything, annoying. I'm sure 5 years ago it was even fewer so we are progressing it the right direction, but I wish there were more females showcased. I know they exist and are just as qualified to be on this list. All of these people seem super smart and have been using autoCAD for years. I hope that one day I will have as many skills with they do. The other thing i noticed is just how many different types of jobs use autoCAD. I don't think i ever put much thought to the 100s of applications it can be used for. It makes me want to explore into the programs depths even more.
