I think it is so great to see smaller productions like these come to light, especially those that can both educate and entertain audiences. It is important now, in this new wave and generation of feminism, to remember how feminism and the idea of the strong woman really started in past centuries. We use these women, especially Rosie the Riveter, as icons of feminism and hard work today, and I think it is important to actually learn and see the history that she came from as we use her image to our liking. I also love that these productions are being done as a one-woman show, and I think it highlights and reinforces even more greatly the hard work of women throughout the country and in the theatre industry.
