Share 3D in the New Autodesk Memento Gallery
autodesk.blogs.com: In the past 24 hours Autodesk has launched a new Memento Gallery where you can publish your Autodesk Memento 3D models for others to view or even download. I published models up there to test it and it works very well.

This sounds just like the warehouse for sketch up. I do not foresee it being super useful with big models because autocad products are far more professional than sketch up I do not forsee people downloading big models that other people have made. Now I think this would be really useful for small components like hardware pieces and other complex universal components that not everyone wants to make on their own. I can picture there being one of every piece of hardware that is found on mcmaster-carr in this database. I do not know, but from what I have seen and can assume, we do not need exact drawings of all hardware pieces we use on the drawings we do here for most of the stuff we build, but for mechanical drawings the detail level needs to be so high that a database with thousands of pieces of hardware that are easily available to you would be immensely useful.
