Rob Marshall to receive new award from SAG Foundation

TribLIVE: Film director Rob Marshall, who grew up in Squirrel Hill, is one of a trio of film-industry leaders and arts supporters who will receive a Patron of the Arts Award from the Screen Actors Guild Foundation.

Marshall will join director/producer/writer Lee Daniels and producer Megan Ellison as the first recipients of the awards at the foundation's 30th anniversary celebration on Nov. 5 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
