‘Kickboxer’ Crew Members Receive Pay 2 Months Late

Variety: About 180 union crew members on the remake of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s “Kickboxer” have received their pay — two months after the wrap of filming in New Orleans.

Producer Dimitri Logothetis and production accountant Jenna Thornsberry told Variety that all the employees paid as of last week.

Good luck to those producers who want to hire those union workers again because paying someone two months later is a big nono. These union workers are feeding and taking care of their families and will this shock and late pay, they would be unable to do that for the job that they did. Producers should always be on top of their work and this is super appalling. No matter if it's a mistake or not this should always be dealt with since everyone is working to get payed. And without you're payment then how do americans live in this world. I bet people could even lose their union membership with the low amount of payment, but not because of the money, but because of the after affect of not receiving what is need to survive in the United States of America. And this article made it seem like it wasn't a huge issue, but this is something that could be massive because of the after effects.
