Discovery Time Square tends to have amazing exhibitions. In the past they have done some great pieces on ancient societies, like Egypt as well as on other media phenomenon like the Harry Potter Series. The exhibits are extremely informative, but also fun, for example giving a comprehensive history of the CIA, while also emphasizing the cool details and allowing patrons to feel like spies. The best one I have been to so far was about the show CSI. It was one of the more interactive exhibits and expected you to investigate one of several crime scenes using the science depicted on the show. It was a fairly large production and while it was very much about the spectacle there was a lot of room left for participants to indulge in learning about the forensic pathology. I am assuming that The Hunger Games will have a less hands on exhibit, but I hope that it lives up to the shows that have been there in the past.

I am all over this, all over this! It may be clichéd but I love themed exhibits, especially ones that are themed after pop culture. The Mocking Jay had such abstract costumes I’m hoping there is some kind of interactive experience with the mockups on display. I would love to get into the head of the designer on this movie, just to see some of their inspirations. Another thing that would be cool? Adapting this to the stage, how would those same effects be achieved without CGI? Completely out of the question just due to the scope of the show but still one can dream. Im excited to see what happens with the rest of the exhibit as well, will it be educational in terms of the movie production or just to draw in fans? One way or another I have complete faith in Lionsgate to make something truly amazing.
