This is an exciting opportunity for education that I wish more people would have. Yes, it's a specific set of educational skills being taught but if you are at all interested in Technical theatre this is extremely worthwhile. Learning proper coiling, labeling, documentation and how to load and unload a truck is invaluble and often not really taught until you are out there in the real world. Then getting the opportunity to learn on site with various crews and site specific tasks is great. The important personal and communications skills that are being taught onsite is additionally very important to teaching people going into the industry. I wish there were more opportunities like this for people to become educated in the "real world."
