Point Park grad makes Oscar dance again

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Rob Ashford has worked with some of the biggest names in show biz, but even he gets starstruck.
The 86th Academy Awards ceremony Sunday won't just be about sitting back and watching the results of his third gig as Oscar's choreographer -- he won an Emmy for a routine he created for Hugh Jackman and Beyonce in 2009.

Ashford's career is very impressive. He has worked with many great companies and performers. This article is a reminder of the intricacy that go into the awards shows themselves. I find it interesting he works in opera as well as more showy performance like that seen in awards shows. That's really cool he is working at HGO soon and came from Pointe Park.
