NBCUniversal Second-Screen App To Drive Engagement and Increase Movie Revenue

c2meworld.com: NBCUniversal TV Distribution is launching a new app that aims to tap into the dedication of movie fans, delivering relevant content straight to their phones when they are watching a film.
It aims to increase engagement and hopefully drive the revenue films make by encouraging sales of digital and physical merchandise.
The app picks up the sound track from the film being watched and automatically streams information, trivia, purchase opportunities plus more to the users timeline within Beyond the Screen.
