Its interesting to see the tech olympics/challenge grow. I wonder how much these students know besides just what is needed at the tech olympics, or how much more in depth their knowledge is. Its great to know these basics of theatre, and to be able to do them fast and on the fly. The importance of these techniques, especially the knots, and what they should be used for is what true education is. Both the knowledge and the skill should be tested. That would add a whole new level to a tech competition. You can do it, but can you tell us how or why?
