Rechargeable Flashlights
New Equipment Digest: Streamlight® Inc. has introduced the SL-20L™ and SL-20LP™ rechargeable flashlights. The new lights are among the most powerful rechargeable handheld lights the company offers for first responders, industrial and automotive technicians and other professionals who require extremely bright light in their work environments. Both of the new full-sized, professional grade lights use a C4® LED to deliver up to 350 lumens measured system output, and 60,000 candela peak beam intensity for long- range beam distance. The lights also feature a deep-dish parabolic reflector, which optimizes peripheral illumination while providing a tight, focused beam.

Well now I know what to get my father for his birthday. While over priced these flashlight look like they will never break and could withstand an atomic bomb. Everyone in any industry that has a the need for flashlights on a daily basis has a very particular idea of what the perfect flash light is. As theater technicians we like everything to be portable and easy to manipulate. I'm also glad that top of the line flashlight makers are some what thinking of the environment. We are in the midst of global warming (lets just face it), and we have to deal with it and even though this is a small step it is something.
