Online Giants to Put on Their Own Upfront Presentations

The Hollywood Reporter: Ahead of broadcast TV networks' traditional upfront advertising presentations here in May that show off their fall season schedule, online media giants will in April hold a similar two-week event dubbed Digital Content New Fronts to also tout their content lineup and advertising opportunities, the Wall Street Journal reported.

It stuns me how greatly advertisement has taken over not only television, but now the internet, and most all forms of social media/ media itself. Just to have such presentations of major companies proposing their own advertisement ideas says so much about how important it consumerism, and hot new products are important in our market. I also can't help but notice the shift in advertisement, once ambiguous to any audience, and now often personalized according to recent google searches- the intelligence of advertising has certainly grown and has a much firmer grip on steering it's buyers towards a certain direction.
