Review: Strong performances aren't enough for 'Last of the Line'
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Somewhere inside "Last of the Line" is an intriguing play: an African American man both proud of and embarrassed by his heritage. It's receiving its world premiere production through Sunday at the August Wilson Center, Downtown. Gabriel Jameson admires his ancestor Zebediah, a freed slave who built a fortune and a plantation and rose to prominence in the antebellum and post-Civil War South.
