Review: Saturday's performance shows Paul Taylor's dance is not to be missed
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Word of mouth for Pittsburgh Dance Council has to happen before the performance. The touring groups it presents usually gives a just one-night stand. On Saturday night, the Byham Theater, Downtown, was packed for Paul Taylor Dance Company, which last performed here five years ago. Saturday night's performance was fresh evidence that Paul Taylor's dance is not to be missed and won't be forgotten. The iconic choreographer is 82 and has just finished a new piece, but hasn't named it yet.

The question I always have when reading articles like this, how does the general public know the greatness of an artist? If there is a brilliant show with a low budget then how do you market that show. I am huge fan of dance and I have never heard of Paul Taylor. Maybe that makes me a bad fan. Theatre struggles at times because the public doesn't know the information. How do we get the information to the public?
