Ballet serving up a full plate of Balanchine works
Post Gazette: "Hot off a run of lighthearted, whimsical Gershwin and Springsteen offerings last month, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will return to the classics with 'George Balanchine: Celebrating a Legend' to bring down the curtain on its 41st season. Three works -- including a PBT premiere -- by the New York City Ballet co-founder will be staged next weekend with the orchestra at the Benedum Center, Downtown.
