Writer/Director Seth Fisher (’04 Acting) and Alexander Cendese (’04 Acting) Making Film with Brian Cox

post-gazette.com: "The film is 94% funded but needs your help in the next seven days to reach their goal.Collaboration is an integral part of the training at the School of Drama and writer/director Seth Fisher has taken it to a new level as he collaborates with fellow alum Alex Cendese (’04), producer of Fisher's feature-length film, “Passing Harold Blumenthal”, and designer Marie Lynn Wagner (’04). “This film is truly a collaborative effort and is only happening because of this talented group of people,” says Fisher, “but also we’re taking this collaboration even further by incorporating the audience, from being involved in the process at www.watchmemakeamovie.com to participating in the fundraising at our kickstarter site.”

It's nice to see alums of the program continuing to work together long after their graduations from CMU. Something CMU does very well is helping to create a national network of collaborators, which will doubtless turn out to be a valuable asset for many of us when we leave here. It is encouraging to see that a CMU education is continuing to pay off well into the future for many alums.
