this is the type of filmamking which had made hollywood great for decades. this is the reason why so any people go into the industry. these types of technologies that involve craftsmen and makeup artists and machinists and designers and a boatload of others coming together to create a realistic and impressive effect that leaves the audience with the question of "HOw did they do that!?" it is sad that the industry has gone the cheaper but less successful root of CGI which is so overly misused in cinema that it makes it pointless to go... this is what hollywood should return to and its no wonder certain directors that stick to this type of effects work are far more successful.
