Brazen Careerist Launches Social Resumes

WebWorkerDaily: "Following Brazen Careerist’s focus on promoting its members’ ideas, rather than their resumes, the site has rolled out a social resume tool. It creates an active resume that showcases ideas and can be updated just as quickly as you can write a new blog post. Users can highlight a variety of different content, from posts or projects outside of the Brazen Careerist site, to conversations on the site."

There are a number of social networking website to type one's portfolio up to market oneself. It comes to be a sort of mainstream for a job hunting. Actually, starting building own website, creating my portfolio pages for the system of the career center of Carnegie Mellon.

It is very useful to gather my thoughts about documenting my school work together and how I can present my skills along with portfolios. But I realized that I can not focus on just completing those portfolio-making sites. Yes, it takes huge amount of time. Also, keeping the information in good shape and updated are harder than one expects.

Therefore, the portfolio tool should be really narrowed down to only a few in order for us to maintain efficiently. In addition, remember that ultimately clients or employers are human.
