CeeVee: Resumes Done Right

Web Worker Daily: "If you’re looking for work, whether a full-time position or a series of gigs, sooner or later you’ll need to send in a copy of your resume. This simple request can be the cause of a surprising number of problems."

This is very cool! It is literally a fill in the blank resume. I decided to try it and it is super easy. You can add and subtract sections to personalize it to the skills you wish to feature as well as reorder the sections. In five minutes you have a decent looking FREE online resume. It even gives you the ability to promote yourself with your own link to email to others or to post on twitter or facebook. Overall, a very cool easy way to make a new resume!

This sounds like a really neat tool. I know when I was first making a resume, I had no idea how to format it to make it look professional with all the necessary information. Fortunately, I had someone who was able to help me, but we all know that having someone else there all the time for help isn't very realistic thing. This seems like it is quick and easy to use, and I will definitely give it a try at some point.

Looks like a useful utility for an online resume. Sometimes there is a need for an electronic resume, but why not just PDF it? There is also a need for paper resume's when turning in an application or other material to other organizations. It would be nice to try this out, but it could be hard to format the resume in a style for your specific job type.
