Progress reported in hollywood writers talks
MarketWatch: "The leadership of the striking Writers Guild of America and top studio executives have made 'significant progress' on a key issue, people familiar with the matter said, a development that may set the stage for a new labor agreement that would end a nearly three-month-old work stoppage by film and television writers."

Just give the writers what they want! I just want to watch the next episodes of Gossip Girl. Reruns are a sin in itself! I mean the actors get a part of the play back shres and the writers should too!
Well, it looks like everyone is thinking this strike is over, with the latest news being that the Grey's and Housewives casts and crews have formed plans as to what will happen so that they immediately can return to work when the strike is over. What I'm curious to see is whether or not all of the shows do choose to return for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, Jeff, shows like Gossip Girl may just choose to sit it out for the rest of the season, which I believe Friday Night Lights (for one) plans to do.
