Play evolves from actor's love of classic 'Life'

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Setlock, a Manhattan-based actor, plays more than 30 characters from Frank Capra's 1946 film 'It's a Wonderful Life' and re-enacts the entire story in 'This Wonderful Life,' a live stage adaptation of the film that's playing at the Pittsburgh Public Theater through Dec. 16."

This is really fascinating--it seems a really strange film to adapt into a one-man show, but I suppose that often works well when its a production a lot of people are familiar with. My guess is that this would be a lot more about characters than about "the story", since you would lose that element of realism and chronology, to an extent, from the film. I'm really curious to know how much technical stuff this show uses, since the article was a little vague about the set. What about sound and costumes? Or is it done with simply just one man?
I love how personal this piece is for the actor. I'm sure that helps convey the meaning to the audience, and makes it a much stronger show.
