While I'm not a huge fan of reality shows, the Discovery Channel usually has shows that stick to the subject matter and less on the so called "drama." This one will be fun because they'll probably pull contestants from a variety of different backgrounds, I'm hoping from do-it yourself engineers as well as professionals. I'm curious as to see how much of an aesthetic appeal the groups will work for, and how much of it will be for just function.
Finally, there's a reality show that actually is a contest of wit and creativity. I hope that they don't cast this thing for optimum drama and rather for cool ideas.
The discovery channel is great. This show looks like it will be interesting. sounds a little like junkyard wars, which is not on much anymore. That was a cool show, because they team together a group of people and a pro in whatever they are building and try to make it happen from the junkyard. I'd like to see an egg cracked with a human hair.
i half expect dave's name to be listed in the credits somewhere when this premieres, or possible have footage in the opening sequence of the menorah being lit with a hamster running around.
