Broadway Talks Resume, But Not Shows
Backstage: "Broadway theatre owners and producers and striking stagehands talked late into the evening Sunday night and gave no indication of whether the work stoppage that has crippled the Main Stem for the past 16 days will end soon or continue to eat away at the traditionally fat holiday season."

It is good that the kids are at least grown up enough to go back to the table but it is pathetic that they can't settle on this. This strike has gotten to the absurd level of these people making some kind of attempt to get things back online and then just bickering. Really they need to strapped into their high chairs until they reach a resolution. In my personal opinion, it's not exactly as thought there is some kind of lack of work and I would side with the producers on this one as far as them trying to get a flexible number. If someone is going to be there then they need to have work and it's just a pure waste of resources to have them because some contract "said so."
