Broadway strike: Talks to resume this weekend
Entertainment Weekly: "Now that the Broadway strike has entered day 6, we've finally received our first bit of good news: The League of American Theatres and Producers and stagehands' union Local One — which walked off the job on Nov. 10 after months of futile contract negotiations — have agreed to return to the bargaining table. ''Talks have been scheduled... beginning this weekend,'' said the League in a statement."

Isn't this the point of a strike? For one party to make another party hurt financially and force them to make concessions. It's working to get the producers and local 1 back to the bargaining table but will it work to get the IATSE what they want, and to get all of Broadway back up and making money. We'll see.
