Stage Review: PPT overcomes early 'Errors' to make good on 'Comedy'

Post Gazette:

"In theater as in other forms of retail, you have to advertise. But declaring your show a comedy right there in the title is like issuing a challenge, and you'd better back it up by actually being funny."

I actually went to see this on friday night and was pleasantly surprised considering that people told me it wasn't very good. my favorite part was the witty set. when i got bored with the West Side Story-like chase scenes i tried to place all the jokes. i had been wanting to see this show for a long time and even this strange modern version was fun. i feel like with its strange sets and the very visual acting it was almost like Shakespeare for dummies. the director was obviously unsure that we would get the story without it being almost entirely over-demonstrated. kinda weird, but still nice.
