LA Weekly Awards Honor 99-Seat Prods.: "The gala event, honoring local 99-Seat productions opening in 2006, took place April 9 at the massive nightclub-concert hall Avalon Hollywood. The bigger mystery of the night was how to find a way to hear the speakers announcing nominees and special tributes, the award winners' acceptance speeches, and pretty much everything else. A boisterous audience was unusually loud and often inattentive to the proceedings, becoming increasingly so during the two-and-a-half-hour presentation."
