Seattle Times Newspaper: "It's alive! And it is lumbering into the Paramount Theatre this summer, with a Broadway A-team cheering it on."

I am really interested in hearing more about this musical. I am surprised to hear that this has actually been produced, especially after a year or two ago all of those vampire shows flopped. The show just seems at odds with the idea of a musical.. the puttin' on the ritz number was the weirdest part of the movie. let's hope that isn't the entire musical.
This is REALLY exciting. I LOVE this film and it seems like it would be hysterical as a show. And if anyone was to do it, it HAD to be Mel Brooks. He seems to be fond of Gene Wilder movies. Who knows, he may be doing Willy Wonka next. Let's see how this turns out!
