CLO to present 'Always ... Patsy Cline'
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "'Always ... Patsy Cline' pays musical homage to country singer Patsy Cline, who died at age 30 in a 1963 plane crash. It focuses on the unlikely friendship that began in 1961 between Cline and Louise Seger, a fan who lived in Houston. The show develops -- as does the friendship -- from letters the two exchanged until Cline's death."

i love shows like this...part because they are much more realistic than the other traditional musicals and they offer some type of real insight into the life of someone very relevant and interesting in the music industry. plus, i love patsy cline, i crew up listening to her so i'm probably biased as to my hopes for this show.
I got to work on the costumes for the show as it was designed by one of our Graduate students, Brandon McWilliams. The show looks like a lot of fun and the designs for the costumes are really great. I was a little upset to learn about Emily becoming the swing but am really excited to see the show.
