Pittsburgh deserving of nod as arts destination
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Last week, AmericanStyle magazine released the results of its 10th annual 'Top 25 Arts Destinations' readers' poll, and to the surprise of many, Pittsburgh placed first in the mid-sized cities category, up two spots from its 2006 ranking."

this is so great for us because it allows us to really have an outlet and because more and more (HOPEFULLY) arts organizations will move into the area creating many more opportunities for students and people alike. i've loved watching this transition, and am so excited to be a part of it as well, cleveland is trying to build up again and so its great to be able to see the different paths that the two very similar cities have taken.
i've grown up in pittsburgh, and never really realized everything relating to the arts that goes on in the city. the trust has done a great job recently to renovate areas and turn more people onto everything that is going on. it's exciting as a college student in this city to see everything that is going on, and to know that there are plenty of events out there for us.
