Reefer Madness
Pittsburgh City Paper: "While I do not use drugs (unless you count sarcasm as an amphetamine), when it comes to other people's drug use I have a hands-off policy. This may be born of my bleeding-heart politics, or perhaps I'd enjoy life more if everybody would just get stoned and leave me alone. But I will say this: People who are high are never quite as entertaining as they think they are."

I love both the original movie, the musical, and the movie of the musical. I did however hear from those who have seen the Point Park Production that it was a bit lacking, which is sad to hear. I obiviously don't agree with the authors beliefs about the musical in general, but oh well.
Yea, Hoover seemed pretty grumpy against the show in general. At least he was nice about the lead actors. I'm interested in seeing this to compare it to the movie.
I would also love to see it to compare to the movie. I've had the soundtrack for the musical for some time when it was remade with Alan Cummings and that looked really funny also.
I like a lot of kids have seen the musical movie of Reefer and would be interested to see it. I saw it being advertised back when point park did Ragtime. I always find it interesting when people do musicals that have become musicals because they will always be held to the standard of the movie they saw
