This is the list I received after my earlier post. It comes from faculty and alumni. I have not censored it in any way, and your own mileage may vary. This should just be considered as a list of worthwhile leads. You still need to do your own research.
Also, you may notice that not all of these are traditional summer stock. You should not overlook regional and commercial opportunities as well. Unfortunately they won't likely advertise in ArtSEARCH, so the gig will be harder to find - but probably well worth it.

Thanks for compiling this list, its always hard to know about where to apply for summer work.

Yes, thank you for putting together a very helpful list of where to possibly apply this summer. I know everyone is trying to figure out the best places to apply. This is slightly random, but if you or anyone knows of burlesque troop or something along that line in Southern CA that needs costume, etc help I would absolutly love you forever if you could help me out!

I noticed your blog querey on summer stock.
The organization I have been associated with for many years in Vermont is the Weston playhouse http://www.westonplayhouse.org/employstaff.html
These folks do very good work, hire real designers, and have fun. The work is typically busy for stock, but folks are treated very well.
Managing Director for hire contacts is Stuart Duke.
