Stage Review: 'Light' seduces audience with shades of emotion
Post Gazette: "'The Light in the Piazza' is a throwback musical, back to the idea of a strong narrative with clear and painful conflicts, working toward a hopeful ending. And it has a throwback score, lushly orchestral, with songs that believe their function is to express the emotional journey, not mark time or run counter to it."
