Incognito

Carnegie Mellon presents...

INCOGNITO
A solo performance written and performed by Michael Fosberg

Saturday, February 24, 2007
5:00pm
Philip Chosky Theater, Purnell Center for the Performing Arts

Tickets are free and will be available in the Purnell Center lobby beginning at 4pm on the day of the performance.

Don't miss this beautifully written and performed autobiographical piece, whose creative intent is to spark dialogue on the issues of race, diversity, and identity. Michael Fosberg is an inspiring artist whose storytelling capabilities can bring his audience to tears and laughter several times within the span of an hour. The talk-back session after the show is a chance for the audience to share with Fosberg their personal reactions to his material, and is something he considers just as important as watching the show itself. This is a fantastic opportunity for people of all races and ethnic backgrounds to gather and discuss some of today's hot topics - racial relations, ethnic stereotyping, and the concept of belonging to one place or another. What is our true heritage? Fosberg encourages questions of this nature, and is willing to accept many possible answers. The important part for him is that the question is being asked. Incognito is entertaining and thought-provoking!
