Study Says Strike Would Hurt L.A.'s Economy

Backstage: "The high risk of a 'real or de facto' strike by Hollywood unions means film industry employment could drop substantially in 2008, according to a new forecast by a regional economic group."

This always happens everywhere. Everybody tries to get their benefit and profit, and that results the failure of the industry. The individuals go on strike for increase on minimum wage, but (in long and short term) creates the shortage in the market and demand that only is disadvantage for the individuals.
