Playwright uses King's wake to explore legacy
AccessAtlanta: The idea came to her last year around this time. She turned on her TV and noticed how people were lining up in the cold and rain to see the body of Coretta Scott King at Ebenezer Baptist Church. That's when Atlanta playwright and novelist Pearl Cleage knew she had a story meant for the stage.
