20 Ways to Stay Motivated

lifehack.org: "For the past two weeks, Zen Habits has been publishing a series on “Motivation Hacks.” The motivation hacks allow you to achieve your goals by maintaining enthusiasm and (obviously) motivation. The goals are well worth the read and I have listed a few of my favorites below"

The items I have found to be most useful on this list are breaking down the goal into smaller ones and getting a buddy/making it a competition. Especially when it comes to school work, I like to set goals with other people. I will make some sort of bet on how long it will take me to finish something and I find that to be incredibly motivational. A nice way to see if you can make your goal while having the pressure of someone else knowing about it.

This has been like my life story this semester: trying to find the motivation to do the things I should. Last semester was a little easier to break up, but this semester it seems like all the work is dumped at once, but not due for a month, so it's harder to get started, and then it sneaks up on you the night before and you end up not sleeping....

It does help that we all have the same assignments. It's easier to gauge where you are and where you should be when 16 other people are also working on it.

amen...just what we need...this school is fast paced and its easy to get swept up...as a whole we all need to head the advice of this article and find the good...i;ve been trying to incorporate that into my daily life...find the good..find the fun...find the creative...find something and everything becomes that much more manageable.
