And the Top Jobs for 2009 Grads Are...
CollegeSurfing Insider: "There’s no doubt, job offers are few and far between in these dreary days of layoffs, cutbacks, and hiring freezes. this very insetting article because the job listed are the ones that i always think of being the jobs that always need people and they are easy jobs to get. i am inserted in how they got this data just to see also see another list with the colleges that have the highest employment rate right out of school and then look at what there highest numbers of grads majors are just to compare i think that would be fun to see if they compared.
The jobs listed seemed more like job category titles then actual jobs. I know that they're all real jobs, but aside from accounting, which there are more then two types for, the jobs listed were ones that most main stream jobs tend to fall into on one level or another. As Robert mentioned, they're the jobs that always seem to have a demand given that the world always needs more people to do these jobs. I don't mean to bash those in the careers, but the jobs listed are also the ones that occasionally can trap you within a job. I only mention this since the article had a heavy slant that suggested to me that these jobs were good jobs to get out of college since they were safe and you could easily move on from them. I really disagree with the idea that you can just move on from any of the jobs they mentioned.
