Fixtures of this style are becoming more and more popular in recent years. I have seen pixel strip lights like these on so many of the major tours recently and personally I think they have a great look to them. I appreciate the use of them as more eye candy fixtures that draw focus to the face of them. People do a lot of pixel effects in long strips with lines of these units and they can really create some very interesting and unique looks. I am not that familiar with the Robe specific fixture, but have seen one made by GLP, Chroma-Q, Elation, etc. They’re becoming increasingly popular and it is really interesting to see manufacturers put their own spin on them. I have seen strip lights that spin around and have built in strobes on the other side for a continuous effect as you tilt the fixture. There are so many different features on these fixtures and I am excited to see how they evolve.c
