What's On Your Phone, Dek Ingraham?
AMT Lab @ CMU: Dek Ingraham is the Technology Projects Specialist at the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council (GPAC). GPAC is the leading voice for arts and culture across the Greater Pittsburgh region, driving the political, financial, and professional support for the sector. AMT Lab contributor Anna Okuda sat down to ask Dek about apps on his phone including ones he suggests for arts managers.

I've always been obsessed with these kinds of articles. Particularly with public figures, I can't help but watch youtube videos where they walk through all of the apps on their phone. While I can't say that I'm on of those people that "can't live without" the apps on their phone, I feel our cell phones have become a massive hub of productivity for us in our daily lives, if you are using them to their full potential. What this translates too in terms of how we should be using our phones, is finding apps that allow us to work smarter, faster, and better, and I've found that there are a myriad of apps that can help you accomplish any of those goals. Not to mention the fact that several apps can do the same thing, but be organized and function very differently from each other, so it's interesting also to see why people have certain applications installed for the purpose of how they actually use those apps in their daily life.
